Jo Anne began her career at Kansas State College of Pittsburg majoring in Music Therapy and Education. She received her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Ottawa University and her Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from the Wisconsin School of Professional Psychology. Her eclectic approach to treatment emphasizes the psychophysiological integration of the emotional, physical, and spiritual self. If one component is out of balance, the entire psyche will suffer.

Consequently, theoretical approaches must be individualized for each client. Her belief that the therapist should exude unconditional warmth, empathy, and understanding serves as a foundational principle in treatment and healing. Individual empowerment through self-efficacy is her desire for each client. Above all, she seeks to instill hope in each client. Although she occasionally sees clients at the Mayfair location, she primarily works out of the Hartland office.
